Fees & Services

The Wellington Senior Residence is a full-service independent and assisted living retirement community. The apartments at The Wellington are offered on a rental basis. Your monthly fee includes a beautiful spacious apartment and a variety of programs, services and amenities to compliment your lifestyle. A one-time community fee reserves your selected apartment or places you on our waiting list.

The following are included in your monthly rent:

3 meals per day: restaurant-style dining
Wide variety of programs and events
24-hour emergency response system
All utilities except private telephone
Weekly housekeeping and linen service
Basic cable television
Building and apartment maintenance
Access to all community rooms including exercise room, private dining room, craft studio, library, computer center, Great Room, and Café Market.

Independent Living A La Carte Services

Personal Care and A La Carte Services are made available to assist an Independent living resident who request assisted living services. The specific services requested are detailed in a personal service plan coordinated by our Wellness Director.

Assisted Living Services

The Wellington Senior Residence is also an Assisted Living (level II) Community. The community is not licensed for, and will not provide, skilled nursing care. If skilled services are needed, resident will be referred to the Residents choice of Home Health Agencies. All Residents must be at least 18 years of age, must not be bedfast, and must not require Physical Restraints. Some of the typical assisted living services are listed below:

Dressing, Changing and Undressing
Grooming and Personal Hygiene
Showering / Bathing Assistance
Continence Programs
Escorts and Transfers
Dining Services
Safety Checks and others….

The Wellness Staff at The Wellington Senior Residence regularly monitor the resident’s needs and reassess the services being provided at least every six months. This reassessment may result in a rate increase/decrease of services in accordance with the Resident Service Agreement. We do not duplicate Medicare certified services. The specific services to be provided are detailed in a personal service plan coordinated by our RN/Wellness Director, the resident, and the family.

Note: The Wellington has a full time RN/Wellness Director on staff
